Tuesday, September 13, 2005 Haha, i think i inherited my sleeping pattern from jc days into NS man. One day i'll seriously get into a whole shitload of trouble. I'm already starting to get marked by my instructors for ALWAYS perpetually sleeping in lessons. Its just like a bad habit kicking in its effect all the time. The moment i sit down in a classroom or lecture theatre, i'll just pomp! Asleep right beside you. There are others that always build castles too, but i'm one of the best castle puffers out there in my class. For the last few booking ins, i've been caught sleeping all the time. (Note : most of the time its by the same instructor) To make things worse, during the grouping today, my name is the FIRST to be mentioned, which comfirmed my suspicions that i will be marked and aimed at for the coming field exercise which begins...today. Its like no matter how hard i try, i just can't force myself to stay awake. I've tried every single SANE available means of staying awake, like eating sweets, pinching and poking myself, breathing deeper (some say it works, it works initially for me) etc. , but to no avail. I can fall asleep and wake up later with half eaten sweets in my mouth, the pain's not working either. Imagine that! haha! So, a warning to those out there who likes to sleep a lot during jc lectures and tutorials. Don't, unless you plan to be a sleeper like me, which i like a lot, and intend to carry over yet into my uni days =D. Although i sleep in lectures and tutorials a lot during my jc days, i also respect my chem, bio and maths teachers a lot. Someone told me before that sleeping in front of a person's lesson means u totally have no respect for that person. Guess it differs for me. (= As a sidenote, i don't feel lethargic the moment i step out of my camp gates, no matter how tired and sleepy i was when i was inside. Hah... Sleep patterns +++
